Can't I just disable Screen Time to bypass it? +

Yes — and we don't pretend otherwise. Apple's controls can always be switched off in Settings, so CurbToll is built on friction and accountability, not a cage. Turn shielding off and your day shows as incomplete to your squad, and Commitment mode makes the trip to Settings deliberately inconvenient. The goal is to make focus the easy path, not an impossible one to leave.

How precise is the time tracking? +

Honest about its limits. Scroll time comes from Apple's Screen Time in roughly 5-minute blocks, not to the second — so your score is a fair estimate, never a stopwatch, and that holds on weekends too. The quick 5-minute pass works the same way: it's a peek (~5 min) that ends when you return to CurbToll, or shortly after on its own — not a precise countdown. And if Screen Time ever can't report a day's activity, we log that day as incomplete — visible to your squad — rather than quietly counting it as a clean zero.

Do you see which apps I use? +

No. You choose your distracting apps with Apple's private picker, and those names never leave your device. Your squad sees only your Net Focus Score — whether you held the line — never what you opened or for how long.

What happens to my credits if I take a break? +

Time credits decay gently. You get a grace period that grows with your streak, then a flat 10 credits a day, floored at zero — with a clear warning long before you hit it. One focus session of any length freezes the drain for the day. Diamonds never decay.

Is there an Android version? +

Not yet. CurbToll is built directly on Apple's Screen Time (FamilyControls) framework, which is what makes the on-device shielding and privacy possible — so for now it's iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.

Do I have to pay to focus? +

Never. The entire core loop — focus sessions, the toll, both currencies, the Weekly Shield, weekend protection and your squad — is free forever. Premium adds depth and power: longer sessions, deeper blocking, data export and analytics. It never gates the act of focusing itself.
