CurbToll

Terms of Use

Last updated · 6 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the CurbToll app and the curbtoll.app services. By using CurbToll you agree to them. Your download and use of the app itself are also covered by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

The service

CurbToll is a focus tool: it shields apps you choose using Apple's Screen Time framework, and lets you earn access through focus sessions. It creates deliberate friction, not an unbreakable lock — Screen Time permission can always be revoked in iPhone Settings, and the app always offers an override that costs no currency (it does count against your Net Focus Score at a doubled rate). CurbToll is not a medical or therapeutic product.

Your account

You're responsible for the account you create and for keeping access to your sign-in method. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Profile → Delete account); deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Subscriptions and purchases

Credits, Diamonds, and rewards

Fair use

Don't attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' data, or manipulate leaderboards through fraudulent activity. Squads show your weekly Net Focus Score to their members — join only squads you're comfortable sharing that with.

Disclaimers

CurbToll is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Screen Time enforcement depends on Apple's frameworks and your device settings; we cannot guarantee uninterrupted blocking or service availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page with its date above. Material changes will be flagged in the app. Questions: hello@curbtoll.app.
